Candy Cane Marshmallows

The best accessory for your mug of hot cocoa

Ingredients

  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 1 box mini candy canes
  • 1 small bag melting chocolate chocolate disks, hershey bar or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Stick one mini candy cane into the center of a marshmallow, vertically so they can stand on their own. Make as many as you'd like, but be sure to leave extra mini candy canes.

  2. Place the remaining candy canes in a Ziploc bag and use the smooth side of a meat tenderizer to crush into small pieces. Pour into a small bowl.
  3. Pour the chocolate into a small bowl and microwave to melt. Melt in 30 second increments on 70% power level and stir between each increment.

  4. One by one, dip the candy cane marshmallow in chocolate to coat the bottom half then immediately sprinkle crushed candy cane over the chocolate. I do this with a spoon.

  5. Place marshmallows on parchment paper to set. Store in airtight container once set. Enjoy!
